A. First and foremost download Lookout Mobile Security. Thats an app that will scan all apps for viruses/malware/spyware.
Then download Advanced Task Manager which is an app that will help you kill any apps that will drain your battery which you might not even know is running.
Then I would download the barcode scanner which is a barcode scanner that you use when you find an app online that you want you can scan it with your phone and it will automatically install it
Then I would download Hancent. It is a really cool text messaging app that will let you customize your the text of your in going and outgoing messages
Ringo and Go sms are really cool ones too.
Another thing you can do is when you go to the Android Market place press search then type free and it will give you every app that is free

So if you have a smartphone, you can get a barcode scanning app in the android store right?
Q. I have the Samsung galaxy smartphone and if I go in the android Market will I get a barcode reader? Or is it built in?
A. It wont be built in. As long as your phone has an auto focus camera, all you have to do is go to the android marketplace and search barcode scanner. There are a few different ones available.
