Motorola, which delayed the launch of the highly-anticipated phone in April, causing customer frustration, added that it was working on new enhancements to the phone after receiving "compelling feedback."
The Bionic will be one of five phones Moto plans to offer this year operating on the LTE flavor of 4G networks being deployed in the States by Verizon and ATT.

Motorola's long-awaited Droid Bionic will hit store shelves in September, Motorola Mobility CEO Sanjay Jha said this week. The phone has been delayed several times since Jha first showed it off at CES 2011, with the most recent projections putting its release sometime "this summer," but it appears consumers could have the Bionic in their hands just in time for fall.

Verizon Wireless has the fastest 4G network in the land. But you won't get any of that on the Motorola Droid 3, a high-end cell phone that's missing major pieces. While the Droid 3 has plenty of strengths, including terrific battery life, global capability, and a swell 8-megapixel camera, compared with 4G phones, it crawls along the Internet. SwiftKey X Android keyboard is too cheap--and too expensive
TouchType released its SwiftKey X alterna-keyboard for
Android last week. I tried it on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and recommend it as a replacement to either of the two keyboards that come installed on the the device (side note: Really, Samsung? You couldn't just decide?).
SwiftKey X is smarter than other on-screen keyboards that auto-complete and auto-correct words as you type since it uses not just dictionaries to make suggestions but also your own writing history, which is gleans from your Gmail, Facebook, and Twitter accounts. It even guesses at the next word you're likely to type

The HTC Droid Incredible 2 smartphone, available in the US on Verizon, will soon receive a new update, v2.18.605.4, that will bring with it Android 2.3 Gingerbread along with a number of other under-the-hood improvements.
According to Verizon's support page, the update will improve the performance of the mobile instant messaging, solve Hotmail sync and connect issues that happen when setting up one day sync, a new download management application, enhanced device stability, a brand new desktop app and more.

Motorola Droid 3 Review: Specs Aren't Everything
As an example of the truism that specs don't always matter, the Droid 3 is it. On paper, this heir to Verizon's Motorola Droid line ($200 with a new 2-year contract as of 7/15/2011) sounded extremely promising: It has a dual-core processor, a 960-by-540-pixel qHD display, and a full QWERTY slide-out keyboard (complete with number row). The specs were enough to have me ready to dump my trusty old Droid Incredible and pick up one of these bad boys.
But after spending some time with the phone, I think I'll be holding onto my Droid Incredible a little longer.

The Motorola DROID 3 will launch on Verizon this Thursday, but ATT customers need not worry…it looks like Motorola has a GSM version of the DROID 3 in the works. Today, what appears to be a GSM version of the DROID 3 made an appearance on the FCC, sporting support for GSM 850 and 1900 bands, as well as WCDMA bands II and V – the same bands uses by ATT in the United States.
