How do I turn off the welcome tune on the metropcs android smartphone?

Q. Whenever I turn on my phone it goes ''hello, hello, hello, wireless for all!''
I've looked everywhere in the settings and I even installed the silent boot app and It wont go away! Please help!! Thank you:)

A. It's probably in the system/media folder with the boot animation and protected from you messing with it unless you root your phone. Just a guess, good luck.

[Android] GO Launcher Ex: How do I disable the Christmas animations?
Q. I've recently installed the Go Launcher Ex for my Android device, which I'm loving so far, but everytime I boot my device or unlock my screen, these annoying christmas animations pop up all over my home screen. It was cute at first, but I'm very much annoyed by them already. How do I make them go away?

A. Press the menu button & select preferences to open GO settings. Then toggle Christmas effect

Will my 'bootscreen' remain as the Orange animation after unlocking my mobile?
Q. I have a Motrola DEXT (Cliq) that I have just unlocked from the Orange network to change to Giffgaff and although the phone is unlocked, the Orange animation still shows when I turn my phone on. Will this always remain on my phone although I am no longer locked into Orange's network?
Thanks.

A. If you haven't rooted and updated to android 2.3.4 You should. If you just want to remove the animation you would have to root the phone install "Root Explorer" from market and then find the boot animation and delete it. Once deleted it will fall back to the android default animation. It should be under /system/media/bootanimation.zip

Is there a Jailbreak for the Samsung Galaxy s3?
Q. I want to get the GS3, but will only do so if there some sort of jailbreak i could do? I just want to have 100% control of how my phone acts, looks, and operates. Is there anything I can do that would allow this? I'm new to the android market. OS is to run of the mill.

A. It runs on Android, for crying out loud. Almost all customization can be done on it out of the box.

And did you mean Root? Yea, there is a root for SGS III. When you root it, you will have complete control on the system. You can then customize things like boot animations etc... Head on to http://xda-developers.com for download links, development forums, etc...
