More than halfway through the year of the tablet, the iPad has finally met its match with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
But two other recently released tablets, the HTC Evo View 4G and HP TouchPad, don't quite measure up to Apple's top-selling device.
At 1.2 pounds and 0.34-inch thick, the Galaxy is slightly lighter than and just as sleek as the iPad 2. Applications load fast and run smooth on the Galaxy, equipped with a dual-core 1 GHz processor. The device supports Flash video playback, an advantage over the iPad.
