UAE. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a mobile phone and telecommunication equipment provider, and the Statistics Center Abu Dhabi (SCAD) today announced their partnership to perform the test stage of the 2011 Abu Dhabi Census using Samsung’s state-of the-art technology. The Galaxy Tab will feature a specially developed application tailor-made for this task.
The Galaxy Tab will be used as a mobility device to collect data and provide baseline information on population, housing and establishment for Abu Dhabi.
