It feels like the tablet-only Android Honeycomb OS has been around forever, but there are still surprisingly few examples of the hardware on the market. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 shaped itself up to be one of the leading early Honeycomb devices, but we haven’t seen any sign of a UK release – until now.

Samsung has finally provided a date for the Galaxy Tab 10.1′s release in the UK, and that date is August 4. In little over a month’s time, you’ll be able to enjoy the fruits of Samsung’s long and hard labour.
It’s certainly had a turbulent gestation.
