Q. I have a Samsung P3 and I am thinking about replacing it with the Archos 5 Internet Media Tablet with the Android OS. I would like to know if there is anyone that uses it as an MP3 player and does it work quite well as one? Would it be a good replacement?
A. Yes and no. The Archos 5 is good, but hang on to your money for the moment. Archos are bringing out a whole new range of Android Internet Tablets which start at under $100/£100 for the 4gb tablet with a 2.8 inch screen.
See for yourself in the link provided, which one would suit your needs.

What mp3 player should I get
A. The Galaxy has a much larger display and even has GPS, I don't think ipod has that do they?
Plus there are many more free apps on the android market.

What programs do other mp3 players use such as Zune or Android?
Q. For example, all Apple products use iTunes for their music and media. But what about a Zune player by Microsoft or a Samsung Galaxy phone or Android? I'm pretty sure they don't use iTunes because it's mainly for Apple. So what do those other phones or mp3 players use primarily for their songs or media? Because I know iTunes is the most popular one.
A. I do not know about the Zune, but Android phones and most other MP3 players don't need software. You just store your media in your Music or Video folder in Windows, where it is automatically sorted by album, artist, year and so forth and you just drag and drop your media into the player like you would a flash drive. That's it. Though I believe Winamp can be used to give more of a "syncing" option if you really want that for some reason. I used to have an iPod, and it was a pain, iTunes is slow, CPU-hogging and buggy.
