How to link work outlook mail with you Android phone?

Q. I would like to be able to access my Microsoft Outlook email from my phone.

A. Outlook is a client. It is the server you need to connect to. How you connect to it depends on what type of server it is (IMAP, POP and Exchange spring to mind as various different types). It might also require VPN access or simply be inaccessible outside the office.

You will need to consult your office's systems administrator to get help doing this.

Can any Windows 8 or Android tablets be used as an external monitor via USB?
Q. Specifically, I want to use it as an extended display for a PC running Windows 7, and connect it via USB or some other hard wire connection. I know some tablets have apps that can do this over wifi, but I need to connect to a VPN that disables other local network traffic, which prevents the PC from talking to the tablet over the wifi network.

Thanks!

A. Nope!

Are there any reasons as to why a custom iPad app is necessary?

Q. Hi,
I have to give a presentation as to why iPad applications are necessary for Small & Medium scale industry.I want to make them aware of the the business potential that a tablet gives(branding etc). I need to provide some points to make a good argument, any ideas ?

I am just not looking at iPad applications, I will also be making applications for android tablets too. Apps range from making e-brochures, mobile websites and also business applications.

A. Custom iPad apps help you extend the basic functionality of the device by adding features that may not inherently be supported. The advantage is that you use software to help control or extend an iPad's use, whether for word processing, privacy, VPN or data protection.

Specially if you consider the corporate or enterprise application of iPads, the need for secure Internet & encryption of business communications is key. The same goes for regular consumers as well who use WiFi and 3G to access the Internet. Apps help in providing an extra layer of security.

Is there a site where I can evaluate which Internet security package I want?
Q. I am getting lost and most sites want to rush you right into a purchase. I am looking for strong basics with a 2 way firewall, frequent updates, some form of site blocking and a search feature for pre- screened web sites. I feel I need more than anti-virus since intrusions seem to be getting trickier by the day. Also, need it to work with my PC, iPad and android phone so i do not infect them all by a poor decision. Thanks

What is actually rooting in android means?
Q. What is mean by rooting in android phones means...can we restore it if root once....i want to install open vpn setting in my andorid phone..but i don`t know how to root...could anyone help em regarding this...is there any disadvantage on rooting..

A. Rooting the phone means gaining access to portions of the phones system that allow you to change and update the device's firmware. In most cases, once a phone has been rooted, it cannot be "unrooted", although you can reflash the phone to a stock state. Each device has a different way of being rooted.

The main disadvantage of rooting is that, in most cases, it can void your warranty. if you have a problem with the phone's hardware, you may not get warranty service on the device. However, I have heard that, in some cases, if the hardware is at fault, the manufacturer will fix or replace the device. HTC is very good at this, in many cases.

I have successfully rooted three Android phones (a G1 and two Nexus Ones) and flashed modified ROMs on all of them, and never had an issue.

If I buy hotspot shield VPN on iOS for a year will I be able to use it on my android without paying again?
Q. I see there is a security code, but I don't know will that be available on android devices.

A. Do yourself a favor, use almost any other VPN out there besides HS. They are run by an advertising company that markets information about people. In fact they have boasted in press releases in the past of their ability to geo target people for advertisers. The last thing you need is them scanning everything you do and making a profit off your personal information. Once information is put into a database it gets replicated and will never disappear. There are a lot of good honest VPN companies out there. I won't mention any names as it will appear as I'm spamming a particular company. But a little Google searching will locate them for you. Any good VPN provider will let you install on as many devices as you need to.

Where is a good place to buy Android apps from?

Q. I want to know a good pace to buy Google Android apps from. (besides the Android Market). Is there a way to get Angry Birds ad-free, or get Plants vs Zombies, I know that Amazon's App Store have ad-free Angry Birds and Plants vs Zombies, but that app store only works in the United States. Is there any place that offers those apps?

A. No, you can't get them from other places. There is no such thing as "cracked" versions.

If it's about the location, you may want to try to use VPN service so that you are like coming from U.S to purchase these apps.

There are many good apps in Android Market, check out here to find apps that fit for you, http://www.listofapp.com/category/android/
