A. They're all smartphones but you can definitely get a lot of microsoft word apps for android--and also youtube. If you're trying to decide between which smartphones to use--I'd definitely suggest the android. I have one now and it's awesome. There are a TON of cool apps to choose from. I've been using this one called http://parlor.fm and it has been cracking me up! Hope that helps!

What do you think about the Android marketplace?
Q. How do you think the Android marketplace compares to iTunes? I'm trying to decide whether to get a Xoom or an iPad, and I've heard buying, downloading, and managing apps on an Android device is a pain compared to doing it on an Apple device.

I know that Android is much more open than iOS, which is a definite plus in its favor, but if it's more difficult to actually get them on the device, then I'm not sure if it's really worth it.

What have your experiences with it been like?

A. I have completely said bye iOS and almost every devices of Apple, Android devices are desired the most all around the globe. If you ask me to share my personal experience than trust me its Android device that matter not the hard ware brand like MOTOROLA or any other expensive company. Market place is not a pain at all. It works perfectly all rights.
To be honest even there is no need of buying Xoom cause now many android manufacturing companies are providing very cool android devices including tablet Pc at a cheap cost. Like the one i am using is called 'Ozi-tab' manufactured by some HONG KONG based company Ozitechnology and i dont regret buying it. I wont suggest you to spend that much money on ipad or xoom, give a thought over that android tablets as welll.

How to sync android music thats already on my phone to my ipod touch?

Q. I just bought the newer ipod touch and was wondering if there was a way to sync the music that I already have on my android phone to my new ipod touch .... If you know please give me step by step directions thank you

A. This youtube video shows how to sync between itunes and android.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHxm_FNbdRg. But in your case I dont think you need all these. Import all the music you have in android to your itunes and connect your ipod touch with your comuter. Itunes should automatically sync all the newly added songs to your ipod touch.

How do I move music from ITunes to Droid phone?
Q. I'm trying to move some songs from my Itunes library to a Droid X 2 phone. These are not songs I downloaded from ITunes but songs from my personal CDs I uploaded to Itunes. Is there a way to get the songs onto the Droid X 2? I also tried to upload the songs using Windows Media Player but that didn't work either. Any help is appreciated.

A. Check out "iSyncr" in the Android Market.

Where can I download android apps and games to my computer before downloading them to my tablet?
Q. I was wondering if there were any sites where I can download android tablet apps and games to my computer first instead of directly to my tablet. Somewhere I don't need to use the internet on my tablet.
P.S. without signing-up for or using google play.

A. I myself dont have an android tablet but I'm assuming that there is an official android store online or an android version of iTunes (for apple tablets-iPads,iPod touches and iPhones).

How different is the Android Market different then the apple market?
Q. I wanted an i phone, but the prices to use it each month is just too much, so i found the samsung intercept by virgin mobile. I have an Ipod touch, so I was wondering how different is the android market then the apple market? And i checked there website, so i saw a few apps i have on my ipod already so that's good. And does the phone act like the ipod/ iphone?

A. graphically there are different..... transaction wise, they are the same......

Android MArket has 150,000 apps.... 67% are Free... 20 are under $5... 13% over $5

AppStore has 300,000 apps.... 20% are Free... 40% are under $5... 25% $5-$10... 15% over $10

Droids can act like ipods/iphone.... and even better........ way more customization... your not tethering to a website all the time (cough itunes cough) like a dog to a tree or like a slave to Steve Jobs... I had a iphone 2G/3G... and I HATED IT... lost my music during syncs... phone froze after syncs.... i only got 1 wty replacement... i never had ins options...... I dont hate the phone, but more or less the Apple Policies that surround it.... when I pay $199 or whatever for a phone in contract --- I considered it MY PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With Iphone, its not your phone...... your constantly connected to itunes for OS updates and music/app support... geeesh, so lame, what does a website have to do with your music library or OS updates!??!!?!....... you set on what Apple tells you when you can/cannot do....... whatever... with Google Android... OWN YOUR PHONE... LIVE FREE... OS update via OTA or email... Music controled by yourself via a PC/Mac sync... and the customization is just freakin endless that it puts any smartphone to shame.......

Marketshare states customers want personalization and customization of their cell phone.... Apple just doent provide that..... and that is why Apple is dying and lossing stock and why Android became so popular in 1 year---what took Apple iphone 4 years to do.........

I know i ranted..... but, if iphone 5 is going to be like ipad when compared to the previous device, then Apple is really dead... LOL...

What really are the advantages of Android over iPhone?
Q. I have HtC One X and although I really like it, I can't see why it is better than iPhones aside on it being cheaper to buy. I had iPhone before and I wanted to try Android and so far, I'm glad I did but I really can't see why people get them over iPhone. True I love the screen size of the One X, but it doesn't do anything better than what my dads 4S can do. Am I missing the point? What are the advantages of Android over iPhone?

A. You dont need iTunes...
You can use it like a USB storage device
Its cheaper
Droid Razr Maxx has a longer battery life
Many more App as you are not limited by the Apple Nazi
Syncs with googe Gmail and Google Drive
