Q. I'm getting mixed information when trying to find a answer to this.
I have a Lg Optimus 3G version 2.2 with unlimited data, I did not signed up for any tethering service. Any ways, usb tethering and portable hotspot seems to work fine, however, will I be charged if I use them?
I search google and some sites say tmobile will charge $14.99,is that true?

A. Yes, you will be charged. The service is provided by T-Mobile, so they will charge you for it. To get around this, you can download an app called, PDAnet. It allows you to tether for free (seriously).
Go to www.junefabrics.com from your computer, and download the android version. Then just follow the instructions they give you.
Good luck! :)

How can i use my android internet in my laptop?
Q. I did the hot spot thing but idk if they charge for that? is there a way to connect my android to get internet access in my laptop for free?
A. Go to the Android Market and download PDAnet. You will also need to get a software client for your computer. After that, open PDAnet and select "Enable USB Tether". Make sure USB debugging is on. If it isn't, go to your phone settings and you should be able to turn it on under "Applications". This si very important. It took me weeks to figure this out and during that time PDAnet was just taking up space on my phone. After all that is done, click on the desktop client and select "connect". It will work on both Mac and PC. I know it works perfectly on Mac but have limited experience with using it on a PC. Good luck!
What is the best android tablet for an efficient price?
Q. I was looking at the Acer iconia a500. I love the USB and price. Under 400 is good. What other tablets around 400 are there that are decent?
A. You can always go the New " Kindle fire" and mod/root it for like $15 bucks.
I have a tab on android rooted ,then for the hell of it I bought the kindle fire used ,, and rooted it I'm happy with it I paid $120 used even at $199 its a good price and a good product for that price even without rooting it .
But I'm a geek so I prefer maxing out all its potential..
Downfall no camera but I have phone for that..
Or
Buy a used android tablet cheap and then modd it,,
You'll get a bigger bang for your buck
Especially if its a 3g tablet slap a simple mobile $40 sim in it root an unlock it and ur good to go on 4g data.
Just a thought.
Or depending on your phone you can jailbreak or root it,, For free tethering to your kindle or tablet..etc
Its very, very inexpensive to achieve this stuff plus tons of people that can do it for under $15

How do I make a wifi connection from my PC to my Android phone?
Q. I don't have a windows 7, I have a windows xp and my android can connect with a wifi connection. I was wondering could I make my computer a hotspot for my android? I've tried mhotspot, connectify, and even configuring my (WNC)Wireless Network Connection) What else can I do?
A. If I am reading your question correct, you want to connect your Android to your internet connection through your PC?
You will have to have a wireless router to be able to connect your Andriod to your internet connection. Your router will broadcast a Wi-Fi signal that your Android will pick up once you turn the the Wi-Fi settings on the phone.
If you want to connect your PC to the internet using your Android, you will need a wireless adapter on your computer to pick up the signal broadcasted by your Android or you can use a USB cord to tether to your wireless mobile internet services. You will need to turn on your tethering setting on the phone for this.
