Android is world's top smart-phone platform again

Android still top platform
Google Inc.'s Android was the biggest smart-phone platform by worldwide shipments in the second quarter, with a 48 percent market share, researchers for Canalys reported Monday.
Android was the best-selling smart-phone system in 35 of the 56 countries tracked by Canalys. It was the third consecutive quarter that Android has led the smart-phone market, according to Canalys.
