What are good reasons for a kid to get a smartphone?
Q. EVERYONE I know has a smartphone, and I am left in the dust. I need to convince my parents to let me have a smartphone. I am 14 going 15.
A. There's plenty of reasons why someone your age could use a smartphone, I'll list them:
-Can actually be dirt-cheap, especially after the mail-in-rebate
-Unlimited music streaming and downloads
-Millions of free apps that range from entertainment to safety
-All the features of your current phone, but better
-You can use Facebook, Yahoo! Answers, Twitter, Tumblr, Youtube, and StumbleUpon straight from your phone
-GPS so you won't ever have to stop somewhere to ask an axe murderer with a mustache for directions
-Usually has a voice command device that can type exactly what it thinks you said so in case of an emergency you could say, "Call 911" and it would dial the number in a split-second
-Many other reasons that I'm sure you already know
Hope this convinces your parents to buy you an Android, I'm using mine as we speak to type this sentence =D Btw if you have Sprint get the Samsung Optimus, it's what I have and you won't regret it.
