Samsung’s Stratosphere, also known as the SCH-i405, made an appearance on the FCC today. The device, which features a horizontal QWERTY sliding keyboard, won approval for CDMA/EvDO 850 and 1900 bands, as well as Verizon’s LTE network. The Stratosphere is Verizon’s first LTE QWERTY slider, and a likely competitor to Verizon’s Motorola Droid 3.
